Please note that all presentations (as pdf files) will be placed on the restricted area of the EMCA website following the meeting as a service to all delegates and EMCA members, unless the author requests EMCA not to do so. All accepted abstracts will be published as conference proceedings in an OpenAccess JEMCA Supplement which will be available online before the start of the conference. Respective messages will be sent to you by oases@brill.com; please make sure to add this address to your green list in order to avoid messages ending up in your spam folder.

Duration of your presentation
A usual presentation lasts 15 minutes (e.g., 12 minutes presentation plus 3 minutes discussion).
A keynote presentation lasts 30 minutes (e.g., 20 minutes presentation plus 10 minutes discussion).
A science slam presentation lasts maximum 5 minutes.
Name your presentation
Please name the PPT file as EMCA25_lastname_firstname. This will help us to organize the sessions efficiently.
Uploading presentations:
All speakers must upload their presentations to a designated cloud folder (link will be send by e-mail) or uploaded at the Mission Control via USB.
Submission deadlines:
Morning session: Upload by 04:00 PM the day before.
Afternoon session: Upload by 10:00 AM on the same day

Please bring your poster to the exhibition area the afternoon before or on the first day of the conference and hang up.
Please note, that poster authors must be present nearby their poster during the Poster Bazar, scheduled on Tuesday 25th March, 15h50-17h00.
Your posters will be accessible to all conference attendees during the whole duration of the conference.

We request to present in a special presentation format:
you have 15 slides, each on the screen for only 20 seconds.
Your slides advance automatically so you have to keep up with the slides, as you won’t have control of the speed.
Some tips – incorporate humor, a surprise or something that is unexpected.
Bottom line, you want to entertain the team of judges as well as inform!
